Welcome, Parents!
Would you like for your child to do more than just hear a story and make a craft when they come to church? Do you want them to have the opportunity to experience real spiritual growth? If so, HiZhouse was built with you in mind. Our goal is that by the time kids leave HiZhouse they will have a strong foundation in their faith and be equipped to live it out.
What should my kids wear?
Casual or play clothes are fine.
Where do I go when I arrive?
When you arrive you should make your way to one of our two HiZhouse Welcome Centers located at the entrances to our Preschool and Elementary facilities. There are signs throughout FBC that will guide you to our Children's Ministry facilities. We also have greeters who will be happy to help you.
How are volunteers screened?
All HiZhouse volunteers complete an application process. This process includes a background check as well as an interview with a HiZhouse staff member.
What type of security system do you offer my child?
At HiZhouse your child's safety is very important to us. Each week when your child checks-in they will receive a name tag and you will receive a corresponding parent tag. No one is permitted into the Children's ministry areas without a name tag and children will only be released to parents with a matching number on their tag. In addition, if your child needs you during the Worship Service we will page you by flashing your child's number on the projection screen in the Worship Center. Parents of infants will receive a beeper so that they can be paged anywhere on our campus. We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for you and your children.
What else do you offer for kids?
Throughout the year we offer special events, camps, and more. Check back at HiZhouse.com for updates.
